Campaigns
These are special quests or tournaments initiated by the Elders. They usually span several weeks and require the completion of several special objectives. Campaigns can be run under a variety of cirumstances or environments. Please be sure to read the specific Campaign Post in the 'News and Events' Forum. Should you have further questions you will need to speak with the organizer of the Campaign in question
Diablo 1: King Of The Hill (KOTH)
Description
KOTH OBJECT:
The object of KOTH is to test your individual and team gaming skills by starting a new level one character and seeing how far you can go without the benefit of any assistace from town.
RULES:
- Visit town only between KOTH sessions.
- No healing from Pepin. You may not purchase, repair, or identify items.
- You may not clear any area in the game more than once. You may revisit cleared areas via waypoints to use pools and shrines as long as you are in the same game.
- Authorized stopping points (for those who actually have lives! Please Note: Starting a new game with a higher level character will increase game difficulty):

SCORING:
Character level(s) * 2
Dungeon level achieved (1+2+3...+16) * 2
Quest bonuses:
- Butcher = 3
- Leoric = 6

Diablo 2(x): King Of The Hill (KOTH)
Description
KOTH OBJECT:
The object of KOTH is to test your individual and team gaming skills by starting a new level one character and seeing how far you can go without the benefit of any assistace from town.
RULES:
- Visit town only to transit areas and acts.
- You may only speak to townspeople when it necessary to do so to transition acts, except in the cases noted below.
- No healing from Akara, Fara, Ormus, Jamella, or Malah. You may not purchase, repair, or identify items. You may not use the stash.
- No quest rewards from townspeople except in the case of Tyreal in Act 4 and Anya in Act 5. You must speak to Tyreal in Act 4 to continue to Act 5, therefore will receive a quest reward from him. You must also speak with Malah in order to rescue Anya and may speak with Anya to continue on to Nihlathak. If you rescue Anya Nihlathak *must* be defeated. Do not speak to Malah a second time.
- You may not have Akara read the Scroll of Infuss in Act 1, therefore will be unable to visit Tristram or save Cain.
- You may not clear any area in the game more than once. You may revisit cleared areas via waypoints to use wells and shrines as long as you are in the same game.
- You may not use 'Players X' at any time during a KoTH session. Please make sure reset the number of players or restart your game for your KOTH session.

Triathalon (TRI)
Description
Tri OBJECT:
The object of the Triathalon is to test your skills with multiple character types by starting a new level one character of three different types and seeing how far you can go with each character before dying.
RULES:
- You have full use of town and town services.
- You may clear areas in the game more than once.
- You may stop at any point and restart later, providing the character has not died.
- You must complete each quest and they must be completed in order.
- You may only play with other Tri characters.
- When playing with other Tri characters, you may not skip ahead to an area that you do not already have the waypoint for.
- You may only use items that you find or buy. You may not accept items from any other character, even one also in the Triathalon, unless found in a game you are playing together.
- All Triathalon characters must have the -Tri sufix in their name to help identify them
SCORING:
Average both the levels and experience of all three characters when they die. Average level is the determining factor, average experience will be used in case of a tie.
